Care Instructions
The general instructions for the care of any embellished garments include;
Cold or warm wash, without harsh degreasers or detergents.
Turn the garment inside out when washing it. This will, at the least, help protect it from scratching from other items in the wash.
Leave it inside out and dry it on the line. If you use a dryer, chose a cool or warm cycle.
Any ironing should be done on the reverse side.
DTF Printing
Think Tshirts, and think beyond.
Screen printing squeezes ink through a stencil into the fibres of your shirt. It is a great way to print, but it's not the way we do it.
DTF, or Direct To Film, is a process of creating a transfer and heat pressing onto the shirt.
Because a DTF printer is basically an ink jet printer, just like the one on your desk, but using a different chemistry in the inks, it can achieve all those blends and graduations of colour that your AI image will give you.
DTF prints onto many different materials. Not just your cotton tshirt, but the popular polyester shirts as well. We have also done backpacks, towels, swags, camp chairs, and more. If we can fit it into our heat press, it's fair game.
Designing your art
When you sit down with your AI mate, there are a few things you should ask him to do to make your artwork better for printing.
Start by asking your mate to create the art at the size that you want it to be printed.
Get the proportions right to allow for size changes.
Fine lines don't compress well if the art is reduced in size, and everything pixelates when increased.
Whenever possible, give us a png file at 300dpi with a transparent background, without any semitransparent pixels.
